“ A delightful countryside gem, very cosy, old typical Suffolk pub run by a very friendly South African couple bringing a few SA twists to their menu. Plenty of space and tables outside for a sunny day, dogs welcome...great drinking barrel for them outside. Dimly lit inside (gives character, but my personal preference would be for a slight change in lighting to elevate and brighten the lovely old main room/give it a lift). Food was absolutely delicious...brushetta with chorizo packed with flavour and a great crunch to the bread, salt and pepper squid spot on and for a perfect comfort food I'd recommend the potjiekos (pork so incredibly tender and large shrimp combo really works), mash and a simple salad - you will feel very full. The burger was something else too...not your regular burger...juicy, tender meat, accompanied by a large portion of chunky fries. If, like us, you are too full to eat a desert, but really fancy one for when you are home later, we took away with us some chocolate cheesecake and cream....omg....melt in the mouth, very creamy, loved the contrast with the nuts on top... delicious. What a great place. Make it a go to on your summer 'pubs to visit' list. Thank you. ”
“ We had dinner here yesterday evening. Very quaint country pub, friendly and family run. We secured a table without a booking. We both had the South African dish Potjokie (apologies if spelt incorrectly) and it was a lovely meal, piping hot. The mash was so smooth and creamy and the beef was perfectly cooked. Our waitress was a lovely young lady, it was her first night in her job and she did a grand job, well done! I love the quirkiness of this pub, different styles of furniture, small quaint and cosy. The ladies toilets were small but very clean and hygienic items provided which is a lovely touch. Would highly recommend and I can add my first South African dish to my belt. We will definitely be returning for Sunday lunch and/or drinks in the winter months. Thank you ”
“ We searched online for a South African themed pub and Three Ways Country Pub came up as being closest to us although it was a 90 minute drive away. After arriving at the pub, the owner Basie introduced himself to us and we were made to feel welcome on our first visit to this pub. Basie's wife Ellie also introduced herself and what was noticeable was how the the owners seemed to know almost everyone who entered the pub as well. Being our first time, I ordered their Beef Potjie and my wife ordered the Pork and Prawn Potjie with my kid ordering a pizza. The portion sizes of the food was a lot larger than what we had expected and I only have positive things to say about how good the Potjie meals tasted. The food arrived hot and delicious. Other positives was the wood fired heater in the bar which added to the atmosphere, as well as the beer costing a lot cheaper compared to prices in the town we live in. I can't recommend Three Ways enough and hope to visit again soon to try their mixed grill meat dish! ”

“ Absolutely lovely roast belly pork dinner. My husband had all three meats. The service is amazing, every member of staff were polite and nothing was to much. Perfect vino, the fire place and settings were very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this gorgeous place. ”

“ Very nice beef roast. Came with a gravy boat and lots of veggies. The warm brownie was lovely. The rolo cheesecake was very sweet for my liking, but I did ask for salted caramel ice cream to go with it. So entirely my own fault, and I did finish it. They also have offers throughout the week, such as buy one get one free pizza and steak for 2. Nice beers. Well kept outside seating area. Good and friendly service. Will be back. ”
